LEE COUNTY (December 16, 2025) – On November 25, 2025, a John Deere Gator was reported stolen from a business located in the 1000 block of Lee Road 166 in the Beauregard community of Lee County, AL.
On November 26, 2025, witnesses observed two black males driving what they believed to be the stolen Gator on private property in the 7000 block of Lee Road 146 in Beauregard. The property owner reported that someone vandalized the fence to his property that resulted in the loss of 19 cows. On November 27 and 28, 2025, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received reports of two separate vehicles being broken into and a firearm being stolen from each. The break-ins occurred in a neighborhood that adjoined the property where the fence was damaged.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators developed Stantavious Glenn Lockhart Jr. (19) from Beauregard as a suspect. On December 11, 2025, a search warrant was conducted at Lockhart’s residence in the 7000 block of Lee Road 146 in Beauregard. Upon entry into the residence, Investigators were able to identify Zatrevion Latae Lockhart (22), brother of Stantavious, as the other suspect in the crimes. Investigators were able to locate some of the stolen property as well as other stolen items including firearms, identity documents including passports, credit/debit cards, checkbooks, and a laptop with an attached credit card reader. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also recovered at the scene.
Both were arrested and charged with:
Stantavious Lockhart Jr.
2 counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle,
1 count of Theft of Property 2nd Degree,
1 count of Theft of Property 1st Degree,
1 Criminal Mischief 1st Degree,
1 count of Trafficking in Stolen Identities
1 count of Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd Degree and
1 count of Drug Paraphernalia.
He is being held in the Lee County Jail on a $29,000.00 bond.

1 count of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree
1 count of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree

1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He is being held in the Lee County Jail on a $31,000.00 bond.
