The Lee County Sheriff’s Office K-9 division has seven working K-9 teams with one Sergeant supervisor. Each K-9 has their own specialty but are all used as multi-purpose K-9s.
Our agency has K-9s trained in narcotics detection, firearms detection, explosives detection, electronics detection, tracking, and apprehension.
The K-9 deputies live with their respective handler and are part of their handler’s family when not on duty.
