Former Sheriffs of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office — honoring their names and the dates that they served.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is extremely proud of its history and would like to take a moment to visit the names of the past Sheriffs of Lee County. These men dedicated their lives to protecting the citizens of Lee County and to serving the court system. Some of them served a year while others served more than 15, each with his own distinct story to tell. For now, we honor them by displaying their names and the dates that they served.
* Sheriff W.S. “Buck” Jones was killed in the line of duty on June 29, 1932 while investigating a homicide. He was buried on June 30, 1932.
